Times Tables (online)

For some people numbers just don't seem to stick. Perhaps your child learns their tables one week only to forget them the next? This is really frustrating for everyone involved. It is also really common.

Maths Club wanted to find a way to support those learners who learn in a different way. This course will be picture and story led. Instead of trying to memorise numbers holding little meaning, times tables will be internalised through images attached to catchy (short) stories - designed to stick.

Maths Club's Times Tables course is in development and being tested in schools. Once finalised the course will be released as a self-paced online course with optional print-outs.

Telling the time (online)

Telling the time is a life skill that can be difficult to master. There are many reasons for children and adults not being able to tell the time. This course was born out of a desire to make a set of online lessons for children, teens and adults to access from home.

There are 2 courses to suit the different age ranges. The course will be different to any other method you may have tried. Not being able to read a clock can make life very difficult. As a teacher I first realised the impact when children would ask me how long there was left until break time or home time. Not being able to tell the time left them feeling lost.

Learning to read a clock is empowering at any age.
